What you're seeing is my next drop spindle, courtesy of Spindlewood Company based in Monmouth, Oregon. According to their description:
Ebony accents on a tulipwood whorl. 2 1/4" to 2 1/2" whorl on a 10" to 10 1/2" shaft. A Premium wood spindle.
And after trying my hand on spinning some merino with another Spindlewood square whorl drop spindle yesterday at the Greater Los Angeles Spinning Guild (GLASG), I now know what buttah feels like.

LOL. I just sent them an email about their Olivewood Square spindle. So nice huh? Buttery....
I know! And to think I've decided to limit my fibery purchases! Guess one more drop spindle (a heavenly one!) won't hurt the bank :)
